In 1971 Richard Yobs Sr. bought a small underdeveloped paint store in the A&P Center on route 53 in Denville, New Jersey where Painten’ Place was launched. In the last 46 years Painten’ Place has grown into one of Morris County’s leading sources for paint and wall covering by providing customers the finest products, excellent service, and competitive prices. Today Painten’ Place is a major provider of well known brand Benjamin Moore Paint maintaining thousands of paint and wall covering related items in inventory. The very busy retail operation at Painten’ Place is supported by it’s many loyal contractors and commercial sales including local hospitals & factories. rich selling You can still find Richard Sr. talking “paint” daily to customers as is his daughter Liz. Richard is a certified paint consultants and Liz is a certified wall-covering consultant. Joyce, Chuck, Joe and Mark round out the sales and office staff. If we don’t carry a product you need, we will try and get it for you. Most special orders are filled within two days.
